Taylor McCarney’s ongoing involvement with Western Alzheimers continues with the commencement of the new €5m expansion of facilities at Marian House Ballindine. This facility will transform the client experience and the facilities will be of the highest calibre and care standards.
Today, the first brick was laid on the new enhancement works taking place at the Western Alzheimers Respite Centre in Ballindine.
A 2.5 million euro donation from the Joe and Helen O’Toole Charitable Trust played a key role in ensuring the development of Marian House could progress.
The almost 4.7 million euro purpose built complex will increase the number of available beds in the facility from 12 to 20, as well as providing improved communal resident and visitor areas.
In addition to the residential care facilities, the association also provide long-stay care, support services, in home support and day services across Mayo, Roscommon and Galway.
