Fort Dunree

Awarded under Failte Ireland’s Platform for Growth initiative, this project proposes the revitalisation of the Fort Dunree campus in Co. Donegal to provide a compelling new Tourism and visitor experience that will showcase its considerable maritime, military, social and political history.

The €15m project which is being carried out in association with Keys and Monaghan Architects will encompass a new vertical elevator linking the lower and High Fort at Dunree, as well as a range of visitor and interpretive buildings, Instagram moments and viewing platforms highlighting the beautiful and wild landscape of the Inishowen peninsula and surroundings.
