Westport House

Taylor McCarney Architects are the Design and project leaders of the Historical Westport House estate. We are currently engaged on a wide range of tourism and visitor projects across this Historically significant Demesne. These projects include the new extension to the current Hotel and new visitor accommodation facilities as well as the new €50m investment in the Coach House visitor centre,  House, and garden experiences with renowned Landscape Designer Mary Reynolds.

This project, funded under Failte Ireland’s Platform for Growth, represents the largest ever Failte Ireland funded investment in the state, and will transform both the Westport House estate as a tourism offering, as well as repurposing and adapting a range of the buildings on the estate to provide a new destination for Tourism both nationally and internationally.
